The valuev-Barrett over is tremendous value IMO. You are getting +141 on 2 guys who have been stopped a combined 1 time. Valuev has shown a good chin and Barrett is no puncher. Valuev on the other hand is huge but he is an arm puncher and believe it or not, more of a boxer. He might be able to hurt Barrett but Barrett has tremendous heart. +141 over 10.5 is a VERY good bet. I am not someone to guarantee a win but it's a good bet.

mmm hmmm.....makes sense.....although i don`t like the way barrett fights(he gets hit alot)...he stood right in front of rahman........which i thought was stupid...

still,he was still there at the end and imo, rahman`s probably more dangerous(when he wants to fight) than valuev.....

point taken.....maybe worth a parlay with something...

Valuev-Barrett%20weigh%20in.jpg

two questions.....

1)i`ve been reading that matt zegan ain`t half bad...not a big puncher...but he`s a southpaw and very active...fought gregorian tough in germany.....works hard...throws lots of punches....

from what `ve read...and from what i`ve seen of a hot and cold running campbell who`s work rate seems to be dwindling as time goes by...is zegan worth a gander?......

2)i`m looking forward to seeing adamek and briggs.....and i`m a believer in the winner of the first usally winning #2(not always)...i suspect that adamek may well win again...he may be able to do a little more in the ring.....

the first fight was a doozy......any opinion on #2(the fight,i mean)...

not sure if i`ll lay the odds...i may parlay him with your over...

a definite "touch" on the draw prop at +1700..

thanks and g.l.

True enough about Barrett he does get hit but he has a solid chin.

As for Zegan he is a solid boxerr who throws accurate punches for the most part. I can see him outworking Campbell for sure. Oh and as for his fight with Grigorian, it was more than a tough fight. Zegan was flat out robbed. he won 8-9 rounds (I have the fight).

Adamek-Briggs II is a tough call. While the guy who wins the first usually wins the rematch the first fight was so damn close, a slight adjustment could lead to a Briggs win.

the more i look at the over, the more i like it.....

not sure whether to take the over 10.5 at +141 or 9.5 at even money.....

that +141 for an extra round is tough to pass up....

the next few weeks are pretty amazing.....

in retrospect,i think i`ll lay off the adamek/briggs fight...really to tough to call....not very smart putting money on something this close....

i`ll play a small parlay on both faves in tonight`s shobox card...with kessler

Mayorga i would be very careful here. This is the first time i am gonna see this guy fight and most of america. With Don King promoting both fighters i see a quick knockout. this will propell this guy like nothing else. In an honest world your bet is probably safe but i wouldn't trust anything with King involve. He is a master promoter and if he can get his other guy to take a dive and slip him a few bucks later he will do it. Now if Barrett had another promoter i wouldn't have commented on this.Just my opinion

I'm appalled! How can you disparage boxing's reputation as being pure as the driven snow? And saying something about Mr. King no less! Why, he is surely America's favorite convicted killer/ex-con.

There might be something fishy going on. The odds on Valuev by decision is moving over +300. Those numbers are ridiculous. Barrett is a decent boxer, has a good chin, great heart, and Valuev is no KO artist. Who is putting big money on a short fight? I don't get it.

Hell i could be wrong but King promoting both of these fighters throws up a red flag to me. who do you hope he wants to win? There are tens of millions to be made with this fighter. I can just see it now this guy sticks out his chin and the russian smacks it and its all over sports center. All the sudden this guy is the next big thing.

I have no problem understanding what the promoters wants, but can they force, or convince, Barrett to take a dive?
Barrett has walked trough allot of fire when facing Mesi, Rahman, Witherspoon, and he left the canvas a million times versus Wladimir.

Yeah fight could have easily gone under. Like i said thought Barrett has lots of heart, he don't quit. Most other fighters would have packed it in. Regardless it don't matter it won.

Just playin'...I know there was plenty of action on both sides of that one, and now you'll disapear again for a few months.

Nice call...as usual
