I'm pretty sure I would make the NHL as a goalie. Such an easy job. :0003

How much do they get paid, I might try out next year if they pay enough?

Carey Price signed a 8 year / $84,000,000 contract with the Montreal Canadiens, including a $70,000,000 signing bonus, $84,000,000 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $10,500,000. In 2018-19, Price will earn a base salary of $2,000,000 and a signing bonus of $13,000,000, while carrying a cap hit of $10,500,000.

I actually think it's a tough job and they probably don't get paid as much as they deserve compared to the other position stars but I have no clue.

On another note, as I'm watching now, this NBC announcer is very impressive.

This is the 2nd game I have watched all year.

How in the blue fuck does hockey have that kind of money to pay a guy?

I was thinking NHL was slightly above WNBA.

Nothing better then NHL playoff hockey, it is the absolute best:00hour:00hour:00hour

Oh and a goalie in the NHL is maybe the most important position in all of professional team sports. One could argue a MLB pitcher or a battsman in cricket. But I'd go with the goalie because he's always on the ice.

And as I have mentioned before on here, I met up with Johnny Bower maybe 40-50 times in my life before he died. And every time I saw him I'd always look at his face covered in scars, fucking nuts he played without a mask:scared

NHL hockey players/Rugby players/Aussy Rules Football players are the toughest motherfuckers out there, baseball players are the biggest pussies.

As for money, my Leafs pay Frederik Andersen a gazillion dollars a year and he is worth every penny:SIB

Johnny Bower getting hit in the face:scared:scared

With bonuses Carey Price was third in the NHL in terms of salary this season, and he was one of three goalies in the Top 20. In 2015 there were 5 goalies in the Top 20 in salary.

And any NHL coach will tell yeah, you don't have a star goalie, you'll never advance far in the playoffs. Look at this season, Blues DEAD LAST in NHL in the beginning of January and then make a goalie change (Jordan Binnington) and make it all the way to Game 7 of the Finals:scared

Watch how much Jordan Binnington gets paid in the summer:0071

Yep, but only on the field maybe 60 percent of the time at most. It is possible to win with a shitty QB (Trent Dilfer sucked and he won a Superbowl!), not possible to win it all if your goalie sucks. You won't make the NHL playoffs if your goaltending is shit.
