One of my friends from high school has started community gardens in inner city Chicago, cool stuff. This is the wave of the future - intentional communities designed around local food sources.

Cool video, I like planting my own herbs and tomatoes in the Summer. I agree this does do a lot of good for the community.

I like the fact when you plant your own food it's not infested with pesticides or exposed to ethylene gas. There are so many stories about industrially grown produce that would make you sick.

Yeap! Everything will come full circle. That I truly believe. Our dependence on fossil fuels cannot last forever, and true change has to come from local communities.
