After those guys, I feel like the worst matchup for him is a very strong wrestler w/ good sub defense. Maybe a Jim Miller or Tyson Griffin-type.

Next, anybody with great submissions.... Diego had success in grappling tournaments even before he left Greg Jackson to train with jiu-jitsu masters the Ribeiro brothers. The submission guys I listed have a lesser chance b/c it is unlikely that Diego will be submitted.

If Diego handles Stevenson, as expected, I'd like to see him fight: Sherk, Griffin, or the winner of Maynard/Miller.

I like him from a fight and financial standpoint as well.
He is so what easy to predict.
As for a person, he is lower than scum.

I like Maynard and think he's a strong lightweight but I just don't think he'd be able to control Dirty Sanchez. But like you said he has a better chance than most

If he was able to handle Sherk, strength wise, Katie bar the door. I don't think he'd have to defend off his back against the other guys and the game would be - does he pound you out before you slip a triangle on. The only way I see him losing is with a pair of legs wrapped around his neck.

You remember that speech Diego gave before his 1st match on Ultimate Fighter. Uh-Duh-err - That is another reason I hate him.

If Diego doesn't lose too much strength from the weight loss then I think he'll be number 2 behind Penn.

Yea, I get the feeling Maynard would get sub'd... and I think we'll see Diego take Stevenson to the ground early after seeing how easily BJ and Florian beat him.

i watched his fitch and florian fights on vid(one was youtuibe,one wasn`t)and his submission grappling match vs jake shields(i watched shields handle gsp in one of the matches...if shields were a bit more well-rounded,he`d be unbeatable).....

sanchez literally looked fat vs florian....he handles the weight cut and an already loaded division gets downright sick...

He might not be big - but he's strong. Able to make himself heavy when wrestling ala Matt Hughes.

He's no Cole Miller

Back in '05 Sanchez walked around at 195lb and fought at 185lb

If he can make the cut without killing himself I think he'll be one of the strongest 155ers out there
