I'm not positive but I'm sitting in my office at my house right now and for the last two days I can hear what sounds like a squirelle in my wall. I think it's a squirrel because the little F'ers ate a hole in my soffit at the front of my house. I'm going to get Fox urine today because I know that keeps them away but I sure the hell hope it gets him out.

I'm freaking out, I guess I'm a city boy wuss but I don't like the fact he's in my house and it's making me feel weird.

there's a long thread on here about something similar you can search for. Your house is a warm shelter, so if they can get in it, they will.

The thing to do is wait until they are out of the house and then repair the hole. Bad thing is, if the squirrel is left in there and can't get out, you know what...

I don't know how easy it is to find fox urine, but moth balls will also keep them out. Also, if you buy a no-kill trap be sure to kill the little ****ers anyway, because they will find their way back into your house. We bought an old house that had a herd of squirrels living in the soffets. I bet we killed 30 of the bastards, and there are still a couple trying to get in.

Besides the damage they are doing to your house, which sucks, I'm sure the squirrel (if that's what it is) is fairly harmless. I used to have a friend squirrel. When I was in college I would sleep with my window open and one morning I awoke to the sounds of munching...the squirrel came in and had himself a nice meal. Next morning I awoke and the squirrel was sitting on my chest staring me in the face. I was a little freaked out, but he was a nice squirrel...I didn't mind when he would come in, as long as he didn't eat my food. I asked him nicely not to, and he didn't anymore. It would be a shame to kill the cute little things... Maybe if you ask them with sincere kindness to go away they will.

Well I can tell you one thing is that I won't be killing him. I have a hard time killking anything so I doubt it will happen. I have some budies coming over and we're going to get up in the attic and see what we can find. don't worry, they don't know it, but I'm going to bring the video camera. It's a guarantee that something funny will happen.

When we were growing up in Rhode Island, we also had one we found in our wall. After a week or so, my Dad pulled him out. He was about 6 weeks old. We had a litter box for him and he became an awesome pet. We had to trim his nails frequently but all my friends were amazed we had a pet squirrel. Did everything a cat would do. I sure do miss him!

my granny used to have pet squirrels. Wild as bucks. They love to run up and down the curtains and fly around the house.
