Tell me the last time you saw Tim Brown or Jerry Rice celebrate or mouth off the way Owens does. I think that the NFL has way TOO many showboats and I am really getting sick of it. If you make a good play, or if you score a TD then celebrate with your teammates, ON THE SIDELINE!!!! Now, I understand that players are going to get excited when they make big plays, which is fine. However, it has gotten way too out of hand. I would respect a player sooooo much more, if they just slap hands with their teammates and went back to the huddle or the sideline. Also, players are celebrating ridiculously for stupid things. I.E. A team is down 35-0 and a player on the losing team stops a guy for a 2 yard gain, then, this guy gets up and celebrates like he just won the Super Bowl. I mean come one just shut your mouth and get back in the huddle. On a final note, when Terrel Owens celebrated by running to the Dallas Cowboy logo and placing the ball down, I honestly wish that the Cowboy defender would have BROKEN HIS LEG, I hate that man soooooooo much, he is a punk with a god-given talent and a body sponsored by 15 diff. supplements. I mean who the f*ck does he think he is yelling at his coach that way, he deserves a serious ass kicking. I loved it in the 49ers first game of the year when he got LIT up, the pussy was afraid to go across the middle after that, he is only good in the open field, across the middle he has NO BALLS!!!!!!!!

Might as well add:

Might as well add:

THE PUNK of all PUNKS in the NFL:

RANDY MOSS.

He needs a serious attitude adjustment.

(not a broken leg but maybe a long ride on the BENCH)

:D

T.O. might have went a little too far last night, but I do not wish any player harm because of their actions. This shows no more class than that of a T.O. or Randy Moss. The other thing is that sometimes we forget that football is a game and when we take the celebration part away, we take another aspect of the entertainment away from it. The one point to be made here is that no action in a football game should call for anyone to wish harm upon a player.

When you say that "no action in a football game should call for anyone to wish harm upon a player" I agree with you to a certain extent. However, I GUARANTEE that there are a lot of people that agree with me, T.O. deserves to get his ass kicked. There are just certain things that you do not do, Now, I don't have enough time to list all of Terrel Owens'. Now you may disagree or you may agree, although, the bottom line is that football has gotten out of control with it's celebration and antics. Football was meant to be a hard hitting, in your face, down and dirty type of game. Then, we get guys like Terrel owens and Randy Moss that are ruining the best parts of this great sport. Something has to give!!!!!!!!!!

I don't want to see anyone hurt on the football field. The celebrating seems out of hand at times. They get fined if their shirt hangs out or they take off their helmets.

I wonder how much thought TO put into his stunt .

Maybe his publicist helped him or his financial advisors.

The sad part about it is if he had signed and given the football to a terminally ill child that he had got tickets for then he could have made a statement we could understand. A statement for touching someones life by having a good heart and it would have been a good story.

But what does TO do ? he has a friend in the stands and he just wants to make their night when he scores a touchdown.

Got to figure a guy that will stomp on the Cowboys hat at mid field is not going to be too bright, or care about anyone but himself.

*** Well that was my 1000th post here at Madjacks. A milestone.

Good luck this week!

I dont with harm upon Owens. I just wish that Mariucci would nut up and discipline that asshole!!! Mariucci has no control over that team or Owens!!! You dont win championships with that kind of team chemistry. Period!!
