Does this mean that Icelandic politicians are not on the take?

Take the money out of politics and we'd be much better off.

Of course corporations are citizens, and money is speech......

Somewhere back in grammar school I heard that the original intent was that elected officials were expected to put the welfare of their constituents first...I must have had a bad teacher....
