Got back into betting college football when it became legal here in Indiana back in September. I've been parlaying Box & One's 5+ star picks for the past month as well as making a few picks on my own.

Here is what I'm looking at today.....

Gut Picks - My initial look at the card - these games jumped out at me
145 Purdue +2 (@ 146 Northwestern)
135 Illinois +15 (@ 136 Michigan State)
183 Kansas State +7 (@ 184 Texas)

Trends - info from Covers.com (has served me well)
161 Baylor (@ 162 TCU +2) Underdog is 7-0 ATS in the last 7 meetings.
163 ECU (@ 164 SMU OVER 70) Over is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings.
148 Stanford (@ 150 Colorado UNDER 56) Under is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings.
125 Louisville +6.5 (@ 126 Miami) Cardinals are 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings.
175 UAB +4.5 (@ 176 USM) UAB 4-0 ATS in last 4 meetings at USM; Road team is 5-0 ATS in last 5 meetings; Underdog is 7-1 ATS in last 8 meetings.
133 UCONN (@ 134 Cincinnati UNDER 56) Under is 5-0 in the last 5 meetings.

Score: Bama wins 34-27

Match-up: I think Terrell Lewis has a big game today for the Bama "D". Lots of talk this week about LSU being the better team - one of the few times that Bama has a chip on their shoulder - love that the game is in T-town as well. Was already going to be a dogfight with a 100% healthy Tua, but even at 75% he is better than most other starters. Bama O-line needs to step up big today.

Coaching: I love Coach O, but ultimately he will be judged on his record against Bama and Saban. That has to weigh on him. I think he will "try" too hard today. Ultimately will come down to halftime adjustments IMO.
