there were two refs who had a clear view of the 'interception' by Tenn early in second half. One was RIGHT on top of the play. It was SO clear that the ball hit the ground yet they called it an interception. Baltimore has to waste a challenge on that shit....c'mon. Bring back the replacement refs.

Wow, if anyone was upset before, i gotta see what everyone thinks about this last call

this could get ugly......I had neither side and i think these refs are bad, even with replay. I agree, replacements should come back

You know, sometime i would feel better if the ref came to the mic and said

"I have no idea what the hell i am doing, or what the hell just happened"

Than make crap up on the fly like these guys seem to do

This was the worst officiating I have seen ever. They didn't get one key play right without replay. Bernie Kucar and his staff need to be in a retirement home--somebody under 70 yrs old without being legally blind needs to be calling these games. What a joke.

Face it, guys. If you had Tenn in the game, most of you think the refs suck period. If they let the last TD stand, HOWEVER, it would've been a different story. Maybe the thing you're really pissed about is the fact that they originally called the 2nd to last play a TD then discussed it and took it back? I can certainly understand that, but the fact of the matter is/was Tennessee was not set on the play. They did not have 7 men ON the line of scrimmage....Baltimore was off-sides, simply means the play doesn't stand and gets done over. Like it or not, they got the call RIGHT. Tenn got another chance from less than a stinking yard away and they couldn't get in. You can't move the ball one damn yard to win the game -- that's NOT the refs fault period!

I didn't play a side, i still think the refs were bad.

The third down catch earlier in the drive, i don't think the guy got two feet in.

That roughing the passer call totally sucked.

Before that last play even goes off, the ref didn't set the ball, the center did. Not supposed to happen. Illegal formation as well. Tenn did not really have enough time to get that play off, the refs helped them big time.

Then it took them forever to sort out their mistakes. And what they came up with seemed like a cop out, correct or not.

I do agree that after all that time, coming up with a QB sneak was sad.

I didn't play this game either and although I do live in TN I am not much of a Titans fan. With that said, I heartily AGREE with BOTH of the above posts. The refs SUCKED in this game for BOTH sides! From a handicapping standpoint, all I can say is, THANK GOD BASKETBALL IS BACK!! Football is my true love, but this season is being decided by little yellow flags!

I still can't believe they brought back the reg refs. The replacements were letting these guys play more. Yeah, they threw less flags, but the game moved along more and was decided by the players. I for one liked it and would love to have them back. And i felt that way before tonight.

And again, i had no money on either side, so that's not clouding my decision.

nolan dalla and I agree totally on the NFL refs: old men trying to do a young man's job, period. They aren't even full time professional officials. Semi-pro would be more like it.
Bring back the replacement officals who were younger. stronger, and quicker. A most competent combination.
