Mann I hate silly fawking plays. I had Fresno tonight...but I had alot on that Money Line. Nothing pisses me off more then turnovers. Makes me more mad that you cant cap turnovers. In the first 2 games I bet on...UVA and FSU...the team I was on has had a combined total of 10 turnovers and 15 pentalies for 127 yards...not good at all. :nooo:

hellah:

Do you really believe that you can't cap turnovers? I know it's a difficult issue for most cappers. In college, I do think they're cap-able, to an extent.

If you are the superior team, your offense runs efficiently and you aren't in a position to be FORCED into a turnover. If you're green and indecisive, the defense forces turnovers.

I don't think Virginia's 5 turnovers should have been too much of a shocker, considering how many young players were getting action. Fresno didn't have much offensive cohesion, either, especially after Berrien went out.

Fresno had just enough to win. These early games are difficult to cap. I am still watching games for awhile. I get kicked in the ass too much when I havent seen the team play at least one game before I lay down the wageriollas .

good job hellah

Ive had this discussion with many many cappers...and we all decided that you cannot capp turnovers...no way no how. if a team has a few games with 5 TOs in a row..chacnes are it wont happen again...but you cant capp hwo the ball will bounce...these payers carry the ball like they are Deion Sanders or something.

Just looking at giveaways/takeaways for a particular team is about the only thing I can think of in regards to capping. Otherwise you're right, it's next to impossible to really consider how it will affect the outcome of the game. TO's worked to both teams' favor tonite, and if not it's very likely the total # of pts scored would have been lower in tonite's game.

hellah, I guess in FSU's case, they might have won SU if not for the offsides penalty giving Wisconsin the first down, and eventually resulting in the game winning FG. Can't cap stupid penalties either. Oh well.....

actually the silly infraction pentaly what cost them...but what REALLY cost them was that kickoff....besides turnovers being a factor in the game #2 on the factor list is Field poistioning. Now coming from a kicker like myself...there is 2 things you try to avoid on a kcikoff..

#1 - make sure you take proper steps for correct momentum when approaching the ball...

#2 - DO NOT KICK THE BALL OUT OF BOUNCE!

And Fresno did #2 :nooo: and that hurt them right there.....

Berrian, or whatever his name is, got injured, that was a huge blow to Fresno st. Besides the turnovers, I think losing him was just as big. They needed him, especially in that last drive.

Another factor, Fresno has a new Quarterback, I'm not surprised he had turnovers, although he does look like a good one, lot of potential.

About turnovers, it will go your way some games and against you some other games. That's the law of nature, that's gambling, no matter how much you study, we have no control which way the ball will bounce during a crucial part of the game........
or if a guy playing for your team ate popcorn with extra butter on it and forgot to wash his hands before the game ;)

Pat Hill's team did some stupid things often. You'd know what I was saying if you watched they palyed the bowl these two years. Unbelievable turnovers and bad decision.
