We visited the kids and grandson yesterday for a social distancing cookout. What a great day to get the family together. Fresh air, seeing my loved ones, good food, lots of laughs. That was great for my mind and attitude.

I started my social distancing from the news, the briefings, social media AND the political forum. One person here,,My mom and dad also drove up to see thier grandson,,my son,, last night and the smile on my moms face when she saw her "favorite" of 9 grandkids and 5 great grandkids was priceless! I have taken a backseat to all those and am now like 23rd on her "favorite" list behind my sister and other things.Sad thing is my aunt ,,who is 79,,always travels with them as my uncle recently passed away and her only son passed about 5 years ago and she is slowly losing her mind from sitting inside a house .She never misses anything my son does in sports and since that has been taken away she is doing nothing but thinking sad thoughts. She chose not to come last night .

My second cousin who is 22 has/had it, I think she has a few days left. She lives in Madison, Senior all set to graduate this spring from University of WI, now this is all info from her dad who I am close with..

She felt like she was having a heart attack, having trouble breathing and her lungs felt heavy, she was in the hospital for about 2 days then they sent her home to continue with regimen and to quarantine. Her boyfriend whom she lives with does not have it and tested negative. Thats about all the info I have, Meg has no underlying conditions, non smoker, appears healthy unless I don't know everything lol.

I am weighing in late on this thread. This, at least IMO has been totally overblown by the media.
On average close to 7,500 people die every WEEK in the USA, of a multitude of causes.

Too i think Jack's point earlier, I have literally not watched the news in about 3 weeks now, it is just PORN for them.

I am in ATL, have plenty of space for my 3 kids to play outside etc., I have 3 elderly neighbors in a cul-de-sac, all doing perfectly fine.

At some point we need to get back to work, otherwise, we may as well all just queue up in the bread line!!!

Meanwhile the media keep spinning out anti Trump, anti whatever garbage, i honestly think the American people are waking up too how skewed MSM is..
