We can give the illegals the homes that we can't afford and are being foreclosed. Of course we wouldn't want the banks to lose out so we can pay for them with higher taxes and fees. Which of course would create more foreclosers which in turn could house more illegals.

Beautiful!

The illegals could then live in the homes where they've been doing the landscaping, nannying, housekeeping, gardening and pool cleaning. That would then free up those jobs for displaced executives and hedge fund managers.

It's perfect! :toast:

What if all of those above mentioned that work for me are legal? I don't hire out non-residents

If you are part of the middle class you will lose your house and business.

With 2 years vacation (99 weeks) just voted in --increased foodstamps and medicaid (1/3 of stimulus plan)--I might move in with Gumbys illegal Aunt in her subsidized home with subsidized healthcare :)

--after all the productives tax $ is footing the bill for all the above.

as side note--you need to define your version of middle class as many have their homes and business paid for-

-however with the redistribution--they could raise taxes on property enough to make one want to give the property away--if they could
--but expect many of us would exercise the 2nd amendment before we'd let that happen.

They do? I am pretty sure that most do not. The backbone of this country is the people who struggled every month to make the mortgage, send the kids to college, put food on the table, take a vacation every year, etc. etc. Those are the people that made this country. Those are also the people who got hurt the most by the $4.00 a gallon gas and energy prices through the roof.

I agree Steve- but in 20 to 30 years of paying mortgage--and kids off to school--most have homes paid off and sitting pretty good-

and I believe O's got it now where kids are still dependents at age 26 on health ins :SIB

--and I with you 100% on energy--as dead set against dems gas tax and carbon taxes.

I agree with most. The part I disagree with is where the kids are off and the homes paid for.Paying 50% of my pay back into the system, taking a new job with a reduced salary, the cost of living thru the roof.

I'm nowhere near those achievements.
