But you must admit that they are parading her around and portraying her as if she hasn't been one of the worst VP'S ever
by exactly what metrics? your opinion?

again, i don't love or hate her. but, similar to hillary, i think the hate directed towards her is insane and pretty much baseless. there are plenty of legitimate criticisms, but nothing worth hatred.

so what makes her such a horrible VP, compared to notables like dan quayle and spiro agnew? and who do you consider good VPs? since they have practically no formal role, i'd love to know what metrics you are using to say she is one of the worst.

the amount of uninformed opinions in our society never ceases to amaze me. someone calls harris one of the worst vp's in our history, and suddenly everyone parrots that. they can't be bothered to form their own damn opinions. "what that talking head (who is paid to get me mad) said conforms to my world view, so i agree. and i'll tell everybody that harris is one of the worst vp's ever."

i'd love to know what constitutes a good vp.

vp's hardly do a damn thing. so how one can be one of the worst ever at not doing anything is beyond me.

Probably the same thing that 72% of people hate about her. She has a 28% approval rating as a VP but now she's the dems savior? Really?
Funny how that works BGC. It's media driven IMHO Best chance and almost 100% of her being president is if Biden didn't drop out and won.
I am amused at those who praised Biden..then spit the bit and now thinks Harris is God's gift.

I see she has started campaign for "the base" offering $25,000 to 1st time home buyers. Pretty cool, waive your college debt and give you $25,000 to buy home. It's the liberals wet dream.
But sure there are conservatives that honored their loan and saved up for down payment. Was a time that was the norm, but becoming a minority.

No 1st time conservatives buy houses? Take student loans?

You keep voting to have a convict run the Country. I'll take the fresh faces. Republicans put the economy behind the eight ball every chance they get, but by all means.....ignore that, and expect something new.

goodness no. conservatives INHERIT houses, like god intended.

a convicted felon who went bankrupt... 6 times? 7 times? and bankrupted a casino. a casino!! oh, and then added almost $8T to the national debt. yup, i remember when conservatives were VERY adamant the national debt needed to be paid down. strange how they seem to care a lot less when one of their own is in the white house.

funny thing, in wayne's mind ONLY conservatives paid off their loans. yup, those damn liberals, always on the government's teat. never mind the fact that, overall, blue states contribute more to the national economy and red states are net "takers."

Unlike you 2 stooges my life doesn't revolve around ganging up on anyone who doesn't have the same opinion as you guys down here in the hate forum. As I said carry on with your miserable lives...
I am not hanging up on you, I'm challenging your assertions. Sorry you don't have facts on your side. It would make defending a vote for a convicted felon, sex offender, serial bankruptcy claiming, veteran defrauding, 3rd worst ranked president of all time a lot easier. But, you be you.

Give the lower income people a break with the savings going right back into the economy and it burns your ass. Give the billionaires and corporations breaks that don't get passed on and you're beyond thrilled. I don't get your understanding of economics.

Spot on! You, yyz and nutz nailed it! My family and my 3 kids all paid off their own loans and none are against these proposals to help people. I think Kamala's message of moving forward and "not going back" is also spot on.

My student loans have been paid off for well over a decade. House was paid off 4 years ago. I don't have any resentment against others getting assistance I didn't get. I don't understand the selfish nature of those that do. Circumstances were different.

this is exactly why people are gravitating to her campaign. they love a positive message. and the energy she's bringing it with. i have nothing but respect for joe biden (the most corrupt president EVER, apparently, but still way smarter than those bumbling republicans who just couldn't pin anything on him), but let's just say the energy was lacking. she can build on what he did.

the messaging from trump is nothing but gloom and doom. this country is in the toilet. every city is burning to the ground. and those filthy immigrants are streaming across the border and roasting marshmallows on the flames. blah blah blah.

not a new quote, and i don't remember who said it, but this certainly applies... "a society can be judged by how they treat their less fortunate."

i understand the argument against the government paying off loans, etc. and overall i tend to agree. i'd rather see the root cause addressed. for example, with student loans, i'd like to see the exorbitant cost of a college education dealt with. nobody wants to tackle the issue of why the cost of college has GREATLY outpaced inflation. if you address that root cause, then the issue goes away because nobody needs to borrow $100K+ to get a degree.

i've said it dozens of times and i'll keep saying it. dems want to make things better for everybody. republicans want to make things better for people who look and think like themselves.

anyone in the working/middle class who is voting republican these days is voting against their own best interests.
