the NHL stop crying about the way there game is played and actually do something about it. I am a huge fan of the NHL and have seen all there attempts to open up the game for its stars fail. The come up with BS obstruction rules, If they really want to make the game more exciting then they should take a page out of the olympic rule book and do away with the red line as far as 2 line passes are concerned. This would open up the game and make it more enjoyable for the average fanto watch and would make promting the sport alot easier. IMO if they dont do somthing then one of the best sports in the world will never get the recognition that it deserves, and it will always be treated like a second class citizen amoung the major sports.

On the course!
The only thing they need to do to make that sport better, is to eliminate the fighting.

international hockey is far better to view, IMO

They do not not need to eliminate fighting. It is a very important part of a great game. Fighting can have a major impact on a game...ie it can change momentum or slow down the pressure of another team..It is the equivilent of a pitcher throwing a high hard fastball and im sure you wouldnt want to see that taken away.

International hockey is fun to watch i agree but you are really watching the NHL players with 2 major differences bigger ice (no way that is going to happen $$$$) and no center line 2 line pass. It is an easy way to fix the overwhelling complaints of the NHL, witch is that its superstars cant find room on the ice without being held or grabbed down to the ice. This is just an opinion of coarse but i believe it could only make the game more intersting:D
