Come out to North America on vacation where would people suggest I definitely do not miss out?
My sister in law just got married in LV, my parents just got back from Canada and my sister spent her honeymoon in the Rockies - just interested to hear about other places to visit

tough question. i'll say, unless you're going to spend a year or so, you'll NEVER get the WHOLE picture of what this country is like. too much to see in a short time and there are so many places that are different.....completely different. hell, i've been here for 46 years and i've been around too but haven't even scratched the surface.

what do you like to do?

I agree with Jack in that America is so LARGE that you need to spend a long time to get a feel for the country.
Whatever you do, you need to make it out here to the Midwest. Nicest people you will want to meet, and you are actually semi-safe out here, too

Thanks for the replies so far guys - it is just something myself and wife are thinking about for next Fall, I suppose you could say we like the outdoor life as far as sightseeing goes and as for the city side it would have to be cultural rather than a loud and hectic nightlife
