What a beautiful day at the golf course today, Farmers sunburn. 81 degrees and I will have to wait for it to get warmer to shoot a current temperature since I could only muster up a whopping 88 today...........Now you know why I am not signing up for the MJ's Golf outings:mj07:
I play from March to Sept about twice a month, Is this a decent score? I am usually happy if I can shoot in the mid to low 80's as most of the guys I play with shoot in the mid to high 70's?????
Has anyone ever started shooting lower scores as they passed the 50 yr old mark? Or should I expect to be happy shooting in the 90's soon:shrug:

A few reasons.

- I haven't swung a club since September.

- I wore my glasses for the first time. BIG mistake. In order to see the ball clearly at address, I have to position my head where I don't normally position it. Then, during the back swing, the ball gets blurry. That was a mess. Back to contacts when playing golf.

- I tripled the 1st hole and recorded the score. I got 9 on #2 with 2 lost balls and quit keeping score :mj07:

I had only 6 pars and 1 birdie. Not too bad, I guess.

I will record my next score when I can see the ball during my entire swing.
