Boston College -8 -- St. Joes is going to have to adjust without OConnor...Bell is the shit if he doesn't get pressure from opponents guards and make wild shots.

New Mexico -1 ...new leadership in the Pit...Cal is rebuilding.

Pitt-24 The best team in the land (sorry AZ)..deep and talented..Dukes have one ****ing starter back...Petersen Building is opening tonight..big crowd...Pitt wins by 50.

WKU +17 Mr Marcus will be a force underneath..they won't win..but, they'll cover the #

Tenn Tech +12 That prick Jeff Lebos has a good team..That other prick Huggins has a young team (note: neither one of these assholes wanted to coach my alma mater, WVU)

the big east is lousy, Their best team struggles to put away Dequenne and Boston College drops home opener to St. Josephs.

The only thing the Big East is good for is unders in conference play because no one can shoot worth a crap in that league.

Pitt, the best team in the country my :moon:

Get a tape of Arizona/Western Kentucky and tell me what you think. . . sure it was only one game, but Western was rated in the top 25 for a reason.

Keep in mind Arizona did this without their other half of the starting backcourt (Stoudamire) and the fact they led by 28 at the half with Gardner scoring ZERO points and we have a very scary team that is full of depth on our hands.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to see Pitt in action one of these times and I'll see if you're right :D

Let me add that Marcus wouldn't have made the difference that many of you may have thought. . . in fact, this Western team was much faster without him on the floor yet it still didn't matter. The full court press was incredible today and it is going to take a very deep team to compete and play with Arizona for 40 minutes. It also wouldn't hurt if they bury 50% or more of their threes (as this is a defensive weakness that Arizona has always had).

Yes yes, you're right. . . just one game. I've followed Arizona for years and years now and can't recall ever seeing what I did today the way they rattled this experienced Western Kentucky team. Several teams are going to get flat out embarrassed this year and I'm not just talking about teams outside the top 25 as evidenced today.

I can't see Northern Arizona feeling great about playing UA on Wednesday. . . all the talk to the press from the players was about destroying every team they play this year without mercy.
