With Hawthorne out, Ramsey on the move

CHAMPAIGN ? Ron Zook's sixth Illinois team got through Camp Rantoul relatively healthy. But the first week back in Champaign turned treacherous.
Illinois starting cornerback Terry Hawthorne will be out 4 to 6 weeks with a stress reaction in his right foot.
He is the second lost starter this week in the secondary following safety Supo Sanni, who tore his Achilles' tendon and is out for the season.
"When it rains it pours," Zook said.
Hawthorne's injury means more work, and a possible starting role against Missouri, for converted tailback Justin Green. He moved to cornerback at the start of the week and will get extensive time in the opener.
