BIG TEN Illinois vs Ohio State
Illinois opens up at home in Big Ten play Wed night against Ohio State.

Put the women and children to bed, as the Big Ten comes to life.

Illinois is 38-16 when opening the Big Ten season, and 17-4 at home on opening day.

The Fighting Illini are also 44-1 a .978% win % last three years at home, Illinois is also 56-2 at home over 4 years (The best record in NCAA ball over this time frame).

THE GAME

Illinois sophmore guard Deron Williams will play, He will play with his jaw wired shut due to an earlier injury, last game he came back and played 34 minutes scoring 20 leading Illinois to it's first OT game (Victory) in over 3 years. This kid is the best in the nation in my opinion.

Illinois back court is solid, the inside force of Powell, Augustine and Smith will be to much for OSU.

OSU relys heavily on it's inside game, the game plan is simple "Pound the ball inside" This will not work against against Illinois.

OSU is 4-0 when scoring 70 points (this they will not do), This year alone OSU has started a different starting 5 in every game.

OSU lacks outside shooting, they are forced to play the inside game relying on free throw shooting. They are not deep and may suffer through the worst Big Ten season they have seen in a long time.

I like Illinois to dismantle OSU at home....

Comments are welcome... More to follow.............

Good Luck to all,
