Scrimshaw has little chance.

the only bet/angle I like there is a Baffert/Lucas number....

He's one of five horses that was an easy throw out

'snake:

I agree that he has little chance to win. The exotics, however, are another matter. Consider that he had throat surgery a couple of months ago and has been working back from that. The surgery seemed to help and his last race was a nice step forward. It looks as though the condition that held him back is now fixed. Another step forward would not be a surprise at all. In a race with many entrants, each of whom is running the distance for the 1st time (with Outta Here the only exception), there is a 'garbage time' at the end of the race where anyone can pick up some pieces and hit the board.

I originally thought Scrimshaw to be an automatic toss, but reconsidered and left him in my exotics.

Good luck today!
