I'm confused about this line

San Diego St. (-4) at Wyoming.

San Diego State just came off the bye week last week, and beat Utah by 19 as a 10.5 point dog:eek: . I have no explanation for that Idaho loss 3 weeks back. When your QB throws 6 TD's and 0 INT's and you still lose the game by 10, that's issues. They just got beat by UCLA. But, Utah is a pretty good team with a very good defense and they put up 36 on them. That bye week did them justice. I saw the ASU/SDS game a month ago and their QB, Adam Hall, can really sling it. Their defense isnt the greatest, but Wyoming isnt an offensive powerhouse so that really isnt a worry. Ok onto Wyoming...

Not only do they have the ugliest uniforms in the nation, they are also one of the worst teams in the nation. They have 1 win, against the powerhouse Citadel, by 4 points. Plus, they only outgained them by 32 yards. They played Colorado State tough last week, but they were outgained by 139 total yards (And who wouldn't look past a team that just beat the Citadel by 4 points at home?)

San Diego state isnt that bad and Wyoming is terrible.
SDSU beat them by 22, 34, and 32 the past three years. The line is 4. Someone please try to explain...

i`ll try

probably has a lot to do with wyoming`s solid effort last week vs colorado st.....was a very close game.....colo st obviously had a serious look ahead to utah this week.....wouldn `t even comment on the spread(haven`t really looked at the game),but the o/u better be 70.....if not,i`m on it....g.l.

marra,
i really like san diego st. as well, heard coach tom craft say that he was concerned about weather ( windy ) affecting his passing attack. seemed confident and pleased with progress of team. i'm playing sd. st. bowling green, houston and i am considering taking cal big 1h vs. ucla who always starts slow. cal is scoring the majority of their points in the 1h.

Those look good to me Johnny B. All I know is Adam Hall (SDSU QB) is a Texas transfer who can really throw. The only question is the defense, and maybe they corrected something after the bye week. I bet the SDSU/Idaho game, and was "watching" it on Yahoo, and every time I refreshed, SDSU would score, then Idaho would drive in like 4:00. However, Wyoming isn't an offensive juggernaut and hopefully the defense can stop them occasionaly. I think the line is about 6 points off. I think something along the lines of

45-35 SDSU looks good to me...

johnnyb - San Diego St, BG, Houston and Cal are some of my favorite plays this weekend. Cal and the points in the first half look to be solid as you mentioned with UCLA being notorious for starting slow. In regards to this spread being 4 I have no idea as I see them winning by at least 8-10 like Marra. Wyoming giving up over 300 yds/game in the air and SDS will throw all day against the defense.

Maybe 41-27 San Diego St.

bigdad2, lets hope were both right this week! i just took aztecs for another 5 units (8 total). pretty confident they win tom. ucla waits till they are down 2 td's before they start playing, heard cal was 166-0 in 1q this season before sc game and they were up in that game 14-3 i believe at half... good luck!

Aztecs at altitude may translate to a not so ez gm.

You want to hear a good tidbit, tho: Wyoming may well have the worst kicker in the nation. 0 FGs for the yr, and 9/14 on xtra pts!

GL to you guys playing SDSt. Gut feeling is that the gm won't be that ez.

not trying to burst anyones bubble

not trying to burst anyones bubble

but I bet SD St last rd game at Idaho, and lost SU giving 7 ...

and this is same Vandal team that went to powerhouse UL Monroe LW and surrendered 29 FDs 326 rushing 274 passing while losing by 20 ... and that despite forcing 4 TOs by ULM ...

wyoming may be terrible, but they played at Tenn, Wash., and hosted Rams, so theyve seen tuffer foes ...

Im not touching it, but good luck to this apparent "too good" line

take care, pt1gard:shrug:

chuckythegoat, coach willingham (n.d.) was asked how his team would handle the altitude this week, his answer was something i learned in high school. it takes 7-10 days for the body to adjust to high altitude! plus wyoming is bad in any altitude...
