Do people just not CARE?
I am starting to believe that unless a loved one dies people just think it's not a big deal.
I went to pick up a pizza yesterday and drove past Dave & Busters and a movie theater - not a parking space to be had.
The airport in FLL was at pre-pandemic capacity this week.
I do know several people who have been lucky to get the vaccine with no side effects.

WTF. How will this country ever recover?

So many people refuse to get vaccinated.

I'm confused.

On the course!
Americans are incredibly selfish.

At the grocery store today, there were several people with no mask on. I get it.......the people with masks are "sheep". We're all the dumb ones, while you guys continue to run business as usual, not making any personal sacrifices, because that shit is "for the other guy".

As I said a while ago, wouldn't it be funny if wearing a mask, and not gathering, would have ended this by now?

But, fuck it. You need a vacation, and miss hugging people.

People just don't trust either side of the government or the media. Look who is in charge of everything, all people over 70. Young people have no respect for authority figures who are their grandparent's age. Fauci reminds you of your old high school science teacher or small town mortician........ Another thought. What if the disease came from a Muslim country instead of China? :0008..... People would be burning down mosques by now......In no way condoning it, but I haven't heard of a single hate crime against Asians. Am I the only one who finds that strange? You'd have thought they'd have made one up by now....Stay safe out there :0003

What does this have to do with people being responsible and giving a shit about others? Why are you talking about HATE CRIMES? Are you racist? Asian businesses have suffered greatly in the US.

Also, I think A LOT of people are under the impression that Covid is a 2020 problem. News flash......it's not going away January 1, 2021.

Odds are very strong that we will be fighting this shit for most of 2021, too. Maybe all of it.

"But we have a vaccine!"

Yup. 20 million people were to have it in the US by the end of December. Two million have. Not favorable math.

Covid is not going away. It will be 2022 before things turn for the better. You have more than half the 330 million population stating they won't take it. Things are going to get much worse in the next 3 months. Sadly.

I'm just talking about the attitude of people and how society has changed......... People start off with a NEGATIVE approach...Could a politician stand up today and say ASK NOT WHAT YOUR COUNTRY DO FOR YOU, ASK WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR COUNTRY. ? Could a President get away with dropping a bomb on a country?

We are all racists and flawed. Accept it. Just hope you are at the lowest degree of it. Plus all dmall businesses have suffered during the VIRUS.

Are prejudice, bigotry, and racism the same thing?
July 30, 2019 by Debby Irving
No. And this is a HUGE source of misunderstanding.

Prejudice is when a person negatively pre-judges another person or group without getting to know the beliefs, thoughts, and feelings behind their words and actions. A person of any racial group can be prejudiced towards a person of any other racial group. There is no power dynamic involved.

Bigotry is stronger than prejudice, a more severe mindset and often accompanied by discriminatory behavior. It?s arrogant and mean-spirited, but requires neither systems nor power to engage in.

Racism is the system that allows the racial group that?s already in power to retain power. Since arriving on U.S. soil white people have used their power to create preferential access to survival rights and resources (housing, education, jobs, voting, citizenship, food, health, legal protection, etc.) for white people while simultaneously impeding people of color?s access to these same rights and resources.Though ?reverse racism? is a term I sometimes hear, it has never existed in America. White people are the only racial group to have ever established and retained power in the United States.

Yes, because there are only Chinese over there.

You believe what you want. I'll believe we are selfish assholes.

You would make an outstanding Chinese citizen. :0008

Zhang Zhan, 37, the first such person known to have been tried, was among a handful of people whose firsthand accounts from crowded hospitals and empty streets painted a more dire picture of the pandemic epicenter than the official narrative.

?I don?t understand. All she did was say a few true words, and for that she got four years,? said Shao Wenxia, Zhang?s mother, who attended the trial with her husband.
