I just wanted to thank everyone on the hoops board for teaching me a lot about hoops this season. I make my money by betting baseball, and tried my hand at college basketball this season and did well thanks in large part to everyone here, and I learned quite a few things.
On a side note, I am declaring myself eligible for the NBA draft to be held this summer. I stand 6 feet 0 inches tall in my converse hi-tops. They are red with white laces. I haven't played organized basketball since junior high. I chain smoke a pack a day of marlboro's and switch to skoal long cut during the baseball season. I run a 9.5 second 40 and can bench upwards of 150 lbs. I went to college and have a degree, but am still technically eligible to play in the NCAA, but will defer to concentrate on the NBA. I can learn to smoke weed again so I can fit in with the big boys in the NBA. I was practicing in my yard the other day and made 4 out of 10 free throws. I also made one three pointer. I envision myself running the point probably. I think I can average 0 points a game and probably play 1 to 2 minutes a game. I don't believe much in the NBA defense, so I can get my rest for offense while the other team has the ball. I like to call myself the White Jordan. Others dont call me anything. I'm hoping to sign with Converse and do commercials with Shaq. Otherwise, I might be forced to sign with Nike. I think I've got the talent and am going to enter my name into the draft list. I've e-mailed the front office for the forms. I obviously know that Lebron James will go ahead of me and maybe that European guy and Anthony from 'Cuse. Hopefully this leaves me at the fourth pick. Maybe Denver or the Bulls or something. I'd love the Lakers to trade up for me as they could use a point guard, but not sure that's going to happen.
Anyway, I'm just writing this to say thanks and hopefully I won't be around next year. I will abide by the rule of no gambling while in the association, so I can't be on this forum. Maybe I'll use a new name or something and give u guys tips in the NBA. I'll have to talk to my new teammates and get their opinions. Anyway, thanks a lot for everything........until next year maybe........
