The man got pounded & pretty much tried to win the game by himself since the rest of his team was MIA.

only thing I'm impressed about is how incredibly overrated this Louisville team & that big clown of a quarterback were. Nationally ranked give me a break! if Kentucky did that to Louisville offense, imagined what Florida State will do.

How do they like their crow?

How do they like their crow?

Since I live in the Bluegrass state I thought I would jump in the conversation.

Ever since last year the Louisville fans have been thumping their chests and explaining to me which bowl they were going to this year, why if they could pull off the upset of Florida State they may even get a big-time BCS bid, heck if they beat FSU and went undefeated they could possibly play on New Year's Day or perhaps even for the National Champoinship.

I guess that National Championship is out of the question again this year, I can't remember of a team getting beat by Kentucky and winning the National Championship in the same year.

Just yesterday an aquaintence was telling me that Louisville would win by 'at least' 3 TD's (although he wouldn't take any action on that statement) and that the 'fat boy' would never make it to the end of the game.

Looked to me that Ragone was sucking for air and 'El Mucho Grande' was looking just fine when the final gun sounded. Ragone certainly has a lot of toughness, but he didn't look like a Heisman QB tonight.

No, I'm not shitting you. Did you watch the game or just going by stats? His starts are misleading. His OL played like shit & he was the only one out there making anything happen really.

I am more of a lurker then a poster, but the replys to this post make me have to respond. I watched this game ( I had Louisville ) I just kept thinking " this QB battled until the very end " Ragone left it on the field today. Thanks to that sad excuse of an offensive line he almost left more then his guts out on the turf. I think TCSN is 100% right, if you watched the whole game you had to be impressed with his toughness. I just think it's sad when a person gives that kind of effort and people can say he sucks. What you watched tonight, if you can see past the gambler inside of you that had Louisville, was a great example of Heart.

I do not think it was necessarily ragone fault, but rather coaching. I do not think the cardinals coach is a very good one. He wins in a very weak conference. The reason behind my thinking he is a poor coach is his ability to make adjustments. Why in the hell if they are getting to your quarterback do you not at least try max protection. It will give your receivers a chance to run their routs. Get a clue. You are in the shotgun and have a back split to your right and they send a guy from the opposite corner. No one is their to pick him up and kentucky jumped the hot routes. Ragone is a sitting duck. I watched this asshole do the same thing against tcu last year if anyone remebers that game. Kentucky used the same strategy as tcu did last year. Send more than they can block because they will not have any backs in to block. Same situation. Ragone got sacked and pressured every play. Keep some backs in their to block and pick up the blitz. Blame the offensive line all you want, but they are not responsible for the corner blitz. The coach in my opinion is not a very good one
