30 years ago, black Friday was a big deal. There really wasn't any online shopping. Now, the deals can be had for several days, and you don't have to fight any crowds.
one time for me. maybe 6-7 years ago, the GF dragged me out to a couple places. it sucked, but not much more than any other time she drags me shopping.
i will be going to trader joe's tomorrow. a) they're actually not very busy on black friday and b) they are supposed to get their shipment of the 2023 trader joe's vintage ale in stock tomorrow. it's awesome beer at a reasonable price. but it sells out FAST.
