First off, I'm an occassional wagerer. I'm sure you won't mistake me for a gambling genius. *LOL* Started wagering when I was in college with disastrous results. Lost $1600 in four weeks. Needless to say my wagering started and ended abrubtly. After graduation and a few years to reflect, I once again took an interest in sports wagering. It was only natural since I'm an avid sports fanatic (just ask yyz). I'm not here to sell myself to anyone, I just like to throw out my opinion on games, as well as hear what everybody else's thoughts are. I just got back from my 1st ever trip to Vegas (what a place). I can say I came out ahead, even if it was only $220. Of course, now I can't wait to go back. Must be that internal instinct to give the money back plus interest. *LOL* Ok, enough of my boring mini-biography. I just wanted to say hello to everybody. Here are my thoughts on 3 of today's games (05-11-02):
1) Orioles (-120) *1 unit* Play against the Rays until they prove they can win.
2) Yankees (-145) *2 units* Lily is much better than his 0-3 record. Yankees still have the best team money can buy, and they will win a lot more than they lose.
3) Diamondbacks (-260) *3 units* I know this is a huge line to lay, but I've been burned more times than I can count by that silly 1/2 a run, while the team wins. The Unit should come out firing after losing his last start.
