And the winner of that game was the best in college football. :mj07:

AND THAT WAS VERY CLOSE TO HAPPENING.

The BCS has managed to grease its way into usually letting the best team win - But its about 100-1 that its happens this year, as everyones favorite joke of a team, Ohio State, will once again back into the game.

Look at my threads last year on the subject, including "HOW DOES THE BIG 10 get a free pass" and the EXACT same thing is happening this year.

Both divisions that shouldn't even get a f'in automatic bid b/c they are not very good (Big East and Big 10) are going to play in the Nat Championship game.

It makes me sick. This system needs a rehaul (call me captain obvious) - B/c this is ridiculous.

If Ohio State wins the national championship after playing that schedule in that conference it is one of the biggest travesties in sports.

I just want them to play ONE SEC or even quality PAC 10 opponent in non-conference. Just one in the coming year. LSU, So Carolina, Georgia, USC, Cal, ASU - WHATEVER. Just schedule a good team non-conference is all I am asking, b/c the Big 10 1-10 is AWFUL.

Let's not forget OSU played Texas in 2005 and 2006.

How come nobody complained about the Kansas schedule when they were #2? Their non-conf were C. mich, SE La, Toledo and Flor Int'l. their conf schedule was the weak B-12 north and the 3 worst teams in the B-12 south (Ok St, Baylor & A&M).

Also, if OSU makes it to the big game I'd hesitate writing them off too quickly. Tressel's first team wasn't supposed to be able to hang w/ Miami. Texas was supposed to be a footnote to USC's march to being the best team ever. Tenn wasn't supposed to beat FSU the year after Manning left. If there's one lesson form the history of the BCS, it's expect the unexpected.

As Boise showed last year, in a one game playoff in college anything can happen.
