Camelot is proud to announce that we will be opening a second office this week in a second jurisdiction. Since its inception, Camelot has been licensed and located exclusively in Belize, but with Football season fast approaching and a dramatic increase in internet traffic and phone volume looming on the horizon, we have reached the decision to open a second office in the Kahnawake Mohawk Territory located in Eastern Canada, just outside Montreal. Check out www.kahnawake.com/gamingcommission

While no company likes to take on the cost of maintaining two offices in different locations, we felt this was necessary to provide greater security for our customers in terms of providing them with consistent phone service and fast, reliable internet connection. It is no secret that we have had minor down time with our internet connection in Belize and sporadic, but significant phone problems as well. By opening a second office in a completely different location, we have taken a major step towards making certain that players can ALWAYS get down with a bet either by phone or the internet. If one locale is having problems, we simply switch to the other locale and we will maintain the ability to switch back and forth at will until we are satisfied that we can again maintain just one primary office.

For now, the fully staffed main office will still be located in Belize, and this move in no way impacts on our status as a fully licensed sportsbook here in this country. For now, all calls and customer service will continue to be handled in Belize until we can get the phone lines 100% complete in Kahnawake. I personally will be alternating back and forth between the two locations during Football season.

The only real impact here is that I will be flying to Montreal Sunday afternoon and will be unavailable for phone calls for most of Sunday and Monday as I oversee the completion of the office setup there. Anyone who needs to reach me should e-mail me at mark@betcamelot.com Other than me not being here for the next 2 days, it will be business as usual at Camelot.

Thank you to all of those who have helped make us a success as we start our 4th month of operation.

Mark, I have a question for you. I visited your site with the interest of considering posting up a few dollars for football season. I noted your bonus plan which excludes any bonus money for those of us who prefer to post up with a credit card.

I'm curious as to why this is your policy. I realize that you pay a fee for credit card transactions. However, you offer to pay for fees associated with Western Union, etc.

EMJ32,
I can't answer for Mark, but most books have that policy. I think it has something to do with cc scams and challenges to cc charges. Many cc banks are rejecting all deposits to gambling sites now anyway.

Do yourself a favor and sign up with Neteller. It is so much easier and you don't have to mess with chargebacks when you win ( it always took weeks for the chargebacks to clear for me when I did that ). Camelot, and many others, treat Neteller as "cash" and pay the fees and give you all bonuses etc. and let you pick your w/d method ( which again is quickest via Neteller ). It takes a few days to get your checking account attached, but once you do it is clear sailing.
