Thought I'd start an in-game thread so we don't have scattered conversations.

Louisville opened up 5-0 run then Illinois got the momentum back with that contested trey with time running out on shot clock.

Looks like Louisville is defending the trey farther out front but also giving up the inside and offensive boards.

Remember that Louisville is one of the best teams at stealing the ball on a pass due to speed and those long arms in that zone. If Illinois goes inside they can give Louisville lots of problems.

Louisville needs to draw more fouls going to the hole and stop with the outside shots. Illinois can get into some foul trouble real quick if Louisville does that. Coaching needs to come in at this poitn and recognize this.

3-missed lay-ins by Louisville in first 5:30 of 2H.

Actually 2 missed dunks, and one should've had dunk but passed it for a long 2 that missed, no rebound.

That Louisville D has 4 turnovers already in first 7 minutes of 2H, but Illinois is also shooting lights out from long range. Touche!

Yeah, over looks great. Especially with Illinois shooting lights out from long-range. Where would they be without the trey with time running out? Guess that is part of their game.

Should've been on it myself...

Louisville really playing a bad game, and Illinois unstoppable from long range.

If only Louisville played an average game. How many shots from 2-feet or less have they missed??????
