On the course!
One win in 20 years.

I don't like his chances. Plus, he cries when he wins.

I'd love to see the :canada1 Mackenzie Hughes win the tournament. If so he'd be the 2nd :canada1 male to win a Major (Mike Weir at the Masters was the other).

My father is member of the same club that Mackenzie Hughes is a member at. His locker is right next to Hughes, Hughes has had the same locker since he was 12 years old, and my dad has been "locker buddies" with him all the way back to when Mackenzie Hughes was a little kid. He's seen Hughes grow up and he even golfed with him a couple times.

My father is also friends with Mackenzie Hughes father, they have golfed many times together and of course through the years Hughes father has talked about how cool it would be to see his son on a Sunday in contention to win a Major, and well would ya look at that, it is going to happen today, pretty cool for him, and on Fathers Day no less:0074

Mackenzie Hughes is a good dude, at the club he'll stop by every odd time and just hang out at the driving range or putting green and sign autographs and help out little kids with their swings. He even opened a course that is just for juniors, which is pretty cool.

And one cool story about Hughes, as mentioned earlier he's "locker buddies" with my dad. Well under "the rules" Hughes isn't supposed to have a locker in that section, it is supposed to be for curlers only (the place has curling in winter and golf in the summer). Like almost all athletes he's superstitious and won't move. So a couple of years ago in the middle of summer my dad told him "Hey Mack, if ya wanna keep your locker you gotta curl, those are the rules!"

Now of course my dad was just kidding around and wasn't serious but..........that same year just before X-mas my dad was curling and guess who walked in......yep Hughes:lol: The dude had never curled in his life but he showed up and curled for about 30 minutes and after he bought everybody in my dad's curling group dinner.

And yep......now he can keep his locker........and his superstition might pay off....he might win a Majorx44:
