SOrry this is kinda late, but there 1 more hr before the game.

Miami OH posted a 6-2 Bowl game record. They avg 32.8 ppg and 408 yds total. 125 rushing ypg and 282.9 passing ypg. Only mistakes that have hampered this offense are TOs as they have given the ball up 29 times. Defensively the Redhawks are solid as they give up 23.4 ppg and 332.9 total ypg. They give up 108.8 rushing ypg and 12 rushing TDs. They also forced 20 TOs and collected 38 sacks. DE Marcus Johnson leads the defense w 12.5 TFLs and 7.5 sacks. Matt Pusateri anchors the secondary with a team high 86 tackles and 2 INTs. John Busing has 82 tackles and 6 TFL. Injuries of Miami OH's 2nd and 3rd best WR lead me to play small on Miami OH

Iowa St is 1-6 all time in Bowl games. Defensively Iowa St is solid as well giving up just 22.4 ppg on 332.1 total ypg. Against the pass they give up only 185.7 ypg with 14TDs and 16 INTs. Iowa state has forced 24 TOs and recorded 21 sacks. Ellis Hobbs has 4 INTs, Nick Moser has 3 INTs and 25 takles. Nick Leaders has 10.5 TFL and 5 sacks. As far as injuries, theres no key players injured, except for the fact that they are weakened at the TE posittion with Brett Kellogg and James Wright out. Their kicker is also out.

I feel that Miami OH will try to send their coach off on a good note. I also see that Iowa St. coach is looking at the future as he dedicated one whole practice to work out the young guys and even says he will play them once in a while. Is the coach looking to the future? I know most teams work out their young guys, but a whole practice of all young guys, isn't that too much? I dunn I may be wrong about this one, but going small on Miami OH.
