There are a few good reasons to play the Hoosiers tonight:

-Luke Recker will make his return to B-town and he will be harrassed by the crowd all evening. For those of you who do not follow IU bball...Recker left the team after his sophomore year and the students have not forgotten about it.:nono: He initially went to Arizona and then transferred to Iowa. IU felt that was a slap in the face to transfer to a big ten rival(not to mention that Alford is the coach...)

-IU is coming off of a waxing at Minnesota...should be looking for a little more effort tonight.

-Iowa is terrible on the road this year....:nooo:

The fact that Illinois has been such a disappointment I believe has helped people overlook the fact that Iowa has been very disappointing. They've underperformed big time. BTW, is Indiana still ranked lower than Syracuse? That's laughable. Gonzaga is a solid team but would they be favored over the Hoosiers on a neutral floor? Absolutely not. The polls are a complete joke and should be eliminated completely. Want accuracy? Look up Massey, Sagarin or Feist's Power Ratings.

Agreed..

Agreed..

Illinois has been the biggest letdown team in Div. I this season..hands down. IU and Purdue have beaten this supposed "top 5" team this season...sorry just a homer sticking up for his boys..:D

Anyway...Do like the Hoosiers in this spot...

Pacerfan --

I don't like to go against Raymond's picks but I think Indiana is the play here.

But I haven't put my $$$ down yet as the line seems to be going down, I just saw -7.5 at Grand Central.

I'm going to follow the line and bang the first half line on Indiana closer to gametime. Hopefully I can get a 3.5!

Well Iowa did not show up at all...

Well Iowa did not show up at all...

Figured they'd put up a little more of a fight. I don't know if this team will even go to the dance the way that they have been playing:shrug:
