A friend had major surgery last week & thank goodness he is OK. A few days before his procedure they tested him for Covid-19 which was negative. Interestingly the ONLY question they ask him was how many people live in his household. When he ask why the Nurse told him that if he tests positive they count EVERYONE as having the virus. With a wife & 3 kids that would have added 5 cases too the tally even though he might be the only one who has Covid-19. This criteria & the news out of Florida would lead one to think the ACTUAL cases are far lower than being reported?!!?

On the course!
What about the millions of people who have/had it and have never been tested?

Don't think for a second that numbers are "lower". That's a joke.

Either the nurse is an idiot or your friend heard wrong. That is not how this works. The other people in the house would have needed to be tested and they should also quarantine, but they would not be counted as positive tests unless they were PCR positive.

Good try though, if it makes you feel better, you can think everyone is lying to you.
