Can anyone tell me the rules for a half-time bet when the game goes into overtime.

Saturday I took Ohio State -4 for the second half. They won by 6 points, scoring a TD in OT. NASA has refunded my bet rather than making it a winner.

Is this type bet only inclusive of the 3rd and 4th period??

There is no info on their site that I can find which covers this situation, and I would think that the OT is an extension of the 4th period, as it is in Basketball...

Any ideas welcome.....

I don't think books consider OT an extension of the 4th Q or P. I don't recall them counting OT points in a 4th Q bet in any sport.

Every book that I deal with (roughly 12 of them) counts OT for 2nd half bets.

Thanks, guys...

Thanks, guys...

Guess the thing to do is give them a ring and get it straight. They have also not credited my account with a 15% or 20% "bonus" which you are supposed to get when you re-ep...

i also had ohio state (-4) for the 2nd half so i can answer your question.

to start- overtime DOES count in all 2nd half wagers.

ohio state was up by 3 at halftime and laying (-4) for the 2nd half. which is essentially (-7) for the game.

buckeyes went into overtime, got the first possession, scored a touchdown and made the xtra point, then held illinois on their drive.

final score: ohio state 23-16....ohio state pushes on the 2h bet

therefore, bets are refunded

Now I am more confused...

OSU led by 3 at half, and won by 6, which seems to me to cover the -4 for the second half...

IMO the second half bet starts at 0-0, and since OSU won the second half +OT by seven, they seem to have covered - not pushed...

OSU won by 7 and was leading by 3 at halftime, which means your bet is a push. Halftime bets mean just that, count the second half plus OT as its own game. OSU won the second half by four points.
