This is a perfect example of a game where everyone and their momma looks at it, analyzes the teams, and comes up with the same conclusion...there is no way the line should be so low!!!! Yet, in some places the line is going down??? money is pouring in on WVU and now i feel like a bet on them is the biggest trap in months??? How the hell does this happen when it seems obvious to everyone the talent/program level differential??? Can someone explain and give thoughts on how UConn is the real way to go

uconn will move the ball on this wvu team. brockington ran 24 times for 105 against bc in a 27-7 loss that was not as one sided as the score would indicate. uconn fumbled on their own 13 yard line on the first play of the game for an easy score. qb uses a lot of different receivers, and they will mix it up pretty well. uconn is a lot more excited for this game than wvu is. if huskies have some success early, they could win the game su. just my take. :) also think conn +4 fh is a very solid play as the teams will trade blows with the running game early on. gl.

I watched that BC game and I thought it was worse than the score indicated. Orlovsky (sp) didn't and still has not impressed me, maybe tonight he will

I like UConn +7 a lot. I liked it when the line first came out and now that everyone is on WV and the line is dropping I like Uconn even more. Uconn has a great QB and RB. Harris is out and I dont care what everyone is saying that will make a big difference. Marshall cant throw. I will also play UCONN on the ML. West Virginia is overrated!

everyone is talking about this talent/program differential. have i been in a cave for the last half-decade? west virginia hasnt been good since major harris was running wild over college defenses. they finally are starting to get back to the wvu days of old, but theyre still not there and uconn isnt the only team still building a program right now. theres talk about this being a bcs team. well bcs teams dont score 19 and 13 pts against christmas day bowl teams like virginia tech and maryland.

im not trying to say uconn is the way to go here, although if i was forced to play it, that would be the way id lay my money. but how some think this is a mismatch is beyond me. wvu is certainly the better team top to bottom. but this is still not an elite team by any stretch.

OK not great but solid! At least he can throw the ball with accuracy! look for the line to drop to +5.5 and maybe even 5! why will the line drop when everybody is on WV? figure it out you dont need a PHD!

West Virginia

West Virginia

A very overrated team. Very one dimensional. I will not play this game as I have not seen Connecticut play. Personally I don't like to play a game where everyone likes one side and its a road favorite.

ET4646 UCONN QB Orlovski is a GREAT QB
Possibly the first QB to go in the Draft

I really like UCONN, but now that I see MASTERL likes them I'm scarred!! LOL
I might just play the Un49.5

TULAH, the first quarterback in the draft, lol, lol? Who are you watching, certainly not the Uconn Q.B. He has very small hands and often loses the ball. Not mobile enough, and too skinny. He is smart though, so maybe a engineer, ok. Not a nfl quarterback. I don't care what any publications or books say.

I think most players trap themselves because the watch a line move and bet it the other way! To understand a trap a person has two concerns. The first is why the line is moving, and Second when is it moving. The first thing i teach people is to learn why the line is at a certain number. I'll take the Green Bay Game as an example Monday night. When i saw the line was 3, i realized that the books were really wanting money on Green Bay in this instance. It stayed there until the game of the day when all the bettors who were trying to get even were betting the favorite on a Monday night again. The public bet it up to the 3- and 4 and we should know that the general public is wrong strong 56.6 percent of the time. Example 2). the last game on the board every sat. that Hawaii plays at home is the Hawaii game. The line versus a bad team is usually around three touchdowns early in the afternoon. But by the time all the week bettors who again are stuck again or just have to bet the game move that line 3-4 points every sat night. Now to understand these simple trap rules of football gambling means as a smart value bettor a person can get allot of VALUE in betting the other way, Or like in the first example, can know which team Vegas really thinks will win the game by knowing who there trying to get money on. I capped the green bay game as a Tenn -2. Knowing that green bay is a plus4 team at home, and seeing the line at -3 for green Bay, would tell the trained eye that Tenn was really a 4-6 point better team. But realize even knowing all this information does'nt mean you will win every game but it will help you beat the living shit out of your local books that put there lines out on Thursday and Friday and don't move the numbers like mine!!!!!!!!!! lol. Good luck
