For all the discussion surrounding the USC-ASU game I offer this: A first-half play on the Devils with my finger on the trigger for USC in the second half. With the heat, home-field, pumped up students/devils, uninjured for now Sam Keller, blah, blah...I don't think that it will get out of hand early. This play should have had a patent on it throughout most of USC's current streak. The reason that they may very well be "one of the greatest teams of all time" has a lot to do with them being the greatest second-half team of all time (thanks to conditioning, coaching, superior talent, HEART OF CHAMPIONS?). Anyway, i'm kicking myself for only cashing the back half of this play last week against the mighty Ducks and hope that the trend that even my little sister can see continues...
FIRST HALF Arizona St. +10 good-sized play (4 units)

Continuing with the theme i'm taking the Florida gators -3 in tuscaLOOSEa. Alabama has played noone and not looked impressive. Meanwhile Florida knocked-off Tenn who we all saw outlast LSU. The talent of these top tier SEC schools is far superior to that of a sanctioned crimson tide unit who hasn't won a big game in recent memory, especially at home. Alabama's defense doesn't scare me until after they defend someone with quality athletes...and oh by the way, Urban Meyer vs. Shula! Yeah i'll be just fine laying all three of those points.
GAME Florida -3 average play (2 units)

Lastly I'm adding another first half play. The Auburn tigers have been busy playing pee-wee teams at high-noon and fighting through some key injuries. But this weekend they defend their 11 game SEC win streak against...mighty USC...and the best player for USC is apparently their 60 year old coach because there is no one else to discuss, except that they lost their awful starting QB Blake Mitchell to be replaced by whatever is second place to awful. Auburn gets and idle weekend up next so no reason to look ahead and the starting RB for Auburn Kenny Irons (who transferred from South Carolina) will certainly be focused and have 150+ yards to remind them how stupid they are for letting him leave. Playing the 1st half to avoid Tuberville allowing his golfing buddy in the back-door late, but I don't think it will matter.
FIRST HALF: Auburn -7.5 average play (2 units)

GLTA

I wouldn't bet against Brodie Croyle at home also you never when AU has a slow start plus with AU's QB having the clap it's only a matter of time before a Tuberville type meltdown.

Like the ASU bet though think USC is way overrated, they showed that against the mighty ducks

GL even though it's obvious you're AU fan who probably lives in a trailer and eats three year old spam :mj21: while screaming war eagle at random cars at Toomer's Corner
