Georgia Tech finished with more total yards, 485-432, and more first downs, 26-21. Maryland scored on a fumble return and the Yellow Jackets turned the ball over on downs on drives of 78 and 96 yards. Maryland RB Chris downs rushed for 212 yards and three touchdowns.
Boise St 67 - Fresno St. 21
The Broncos piled up 688 yards of offense and held Fresno St. to 36 yards rushing on 17 carries (2.1 ypc). Ryan Dinwiddie came off the bench and went 19-22 with 406 yards and five touchdowns in his first game back in over a month.
Clemson 31 - Wake Forest 23
Wake Forest out gained Clemson 522-280 and had five more first downs but also had five more turnovers. The Deacons turned the ball over on five of their seven 2nd half possessions including a fumble with 1:15 remaining as they were going in for the possible tying touchdown. The ball rolled out of the endzone for a Clemson touchback.

Syracuse committed four turnovers, all in the 1st half, that led to 13 West Virginia points. The Mountaineers rushed for 279 yards on 57 carries (4.9 ypc) while the Orangemen were held to 72 rushing yards on 38 carries (1.9 ypc).
Boston College 46 ? Navy 21
First downs were even and Boston College only had 23 more total yards but benefited from six Navy turnovers. The Eagles scored 14 point off of those turnovers and also stopped Navy twice on fourth down in the 1st quarter near the red zone.
NC State 24 ? Duke 22
Duke finished with three more first downs and 12 more total yards and missed a 65-yard field goal to end the game after recovering an onsides kick. NC State led 17-0 but Duke came back with 15 unanswered points and came up just short. After recovering the onsides kick, Duke was unable to gain any yards in 3 plays, resulting in the long FGA.

BYU had five more first downs and had nearly 100 more total yards, but committed five turnovers, which led to 21 UNLV points. Along with the turnovers, the Cougars lost the ball on downs on four different occasions.

Southern Miss was held to only 11 first downs and 209 total yards. They scored their go ahead touchdown on an interception return in the 4th quarter and scored another touchdown earlier when they returned a fumble 25 yards to the Bearcats 5 yard line.

A back and forth game most of the way, the Aztecs scored the game-winning touchdown on a 34-yard interception return. San Diego St. missed two field goals, turned the ball over twice, once after driving down to the Cowboys 31 yard line.

The Cowboys held off a late Nebraska rally to pull off the upset. Nebraska scored 14 4th quarter points, 7 off of a Cowboys fumble, but was unable to recover the onsides kick and Oklahoma St. was able to run out the clock.

The Sun Devils had 8 more first downs and 133 more total yards but needed a 29-yard field goal with 1:58 remaining to get the win. Arizona St. scored on eight consecutive 2nd half possessions after the Ducks built an 18-point lead.

A very even game statistically, Purdue scored their last touchdown with eight seconds remaining to pull within two points. The Boilermakers threw two interceptions in Michigan territory in the 4th quarter.

Arkansas out gained the Wildcats 515-332 and had 8 more first downs but Kentucky took their biggest lead of the game with an 86-yard punt returned for a touchdown. Prior to that, Kentucky intercepted a pass at the Razorback 20-yard line setting up another touchdown. Later in the 3rd quarter, Kentucky recovered a fumble and later scored their second touchdown off a turnover.
