IndyCar: Indy 500 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Sunday 11:00am ET
The Greatest Spectacle in Racing gets underway on Sunday morning with Alex Tagliani, Scott Dixon, and Oriol Servia starting on the grid's front row.
Dixon won the Indy 500 in 2008, and he'll be joined by four other former champions on Sunday: Dario Franchitti, Helio Castroneves, Dan Wheldon, and Buddy Rice. Franchitti is the defending champ, taking the checkered flag at Indy last season.
Also among the favorites for the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday is series points leader Will Power, who will be looking for his first victory in the circuit's marquee event.
NASCAR: Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Sunday 6:00pm ET
Carl Edwards is the favorite to take the checkered flag on Sunday as the Sprint Cup Series gets back on the track at Charlotte Motor Speedway in the Coca-Cola 600.
Edwards leads the driver standings after 11 starts, holding a 24-point lead on Jimmie Johnson. However, Edwards ended up back in 16th place in the Coca-Cola 600 last season and has never won a Cup event at Charlotte.
Johnson has six Cup wins at Charlotte on his resume, and he's the second favorite to take the checkered flag on Sunday, followed by Kyle Busch and Matt Kenseth.
