The Royals in the bottom of the 8th bring in a RP named Herrea and his first batter they make him throw 4 pithches out of the strike zone and intenionally walk Johnson.

Why bring him in ? Make the asshole that got you in the mess walk the guy.

I agree. He comes in all warmed and ready to try to get somebody out and they make him walk a batter intentionally. Maybe they made the decision after the change had been made. Maybe they decided it didn't matter in the grand scheme of things anyway. Who knows?
