Or, maybe not interesting, depending on your POV.
Each morning when I stop by, I check out the # of viewers in each forum, just out of curiosity to see which are popular. Today we have:
NBA 47
College hoops 64
NFL 101
College Football 65
MLB 225
General Discussion 437
Naked Hotties 1,395
Here are some thoughts.
NBA has two playoff games today, but the least amount of viewers.
Actually, it has one more viewer right now than college hoops, a sport that isn't even in-season.
Are people sick of the NBA as a sport, or the constant sjwp preaching they do?
It's the playoffs, and interest seems low?
In Vegas books, we have a saying, "Football is King."
No games today (though the season starts tomorrow) and NFL has DOUBLE the #'s of the NBA.
What really stands out to me is MLB.
This is a sport that has had attendance/viewership/ratings problems over the years, but it seems to be doing very well right now, based on the sampling here.
It's the sport I loved most as a kid, but over the years my interest waned, too many rule changes, the games were too long, and boring. (Plus I'm an Oriole fan, and not a masochist, so not much reason to watch these days.)
Anyway, just thought I'd toss out a topic for discussion or opinion on the popularity of sports, wondering if anyone else saw the numbers and was surprised that MLB is atop the list. Wonder if it will be on top tomorrow when we have NFL in action. THAT would be surprising.
Have a great day,
RBD
