Interesting tidbits about tonights game

A couple interesting notes about the game I came across this morning:

THIRD BCS Title game ever in the double digit line range (Miami (FL) -11 in 2003; Florida State -10 in 2001 both lost the game outright.)

The Point Spread has NEVER mattered in BCS Title game. (14 of 14 times favorite won by more than the spread, or the underdog won outright)

I feel the opposite as I just cannot see the Notre Dame defense letting this one get out of hand. Touchdowns are more precious than diamonds against that D.
