GW, I've been too busy with business and on the weekends I'm oustide and having fun with the wife, kids and friends. I think I've had a pool party or lake party every weekend. It's been making it hard to watch all of the events and keep up with them as well. I feel like I'm falling behind on my MMA fighter knowledge.

I'm looking at 3 of the fights for tomorrow but still nothing big.

I do know one thing. I'll be playing Liddell VERY LARGE next month. As soon as my book lets me bet I will probably max out on it. Right now I see it at -231 and to me that's a gift.

GW, it's funny to watch straight BJJ. I keep wanting an elbow or fist to fly. Fairly boring once you're use to mma. I still think Shields would do VERY well in the UFC.

i agree,layin`...watchin` guys like karo parisyan and sodjoukou grabbing at one another`s ghi`s(spelling?) knowing the kind of mayhem they can bring was almost absurd....


i also agree that shields is an out and out beast....

imo,shields/gsp is a dream fight....i think shields is an extremely strong,fast,well rounded guy at 170.....i honestly like him vs most 170 pounders this side of gsp.....

would be a great,great fight....

fights like the joslin fight are the reason i give fitch an "outside" chance tomorrow night.....

fitch got buzzed badly in the first,spent the majority of the round on his back and never exhibited any give....

and came back...it was a very close fight that could have gone joslin`s way...


he kept slipping in that fight....

i gotta say,though,joslin`s got excellent hands...,

i have a small wager on fitch,but my gut says gsp`s just to quick and explosive...

well...he hung in and got the decision...

my point was that the guy`s been in tough and found ways to win....that he was used to going long in hard fights..

regardless of how tough it got...and gsp put some hurt on fitch...he never stopped trying to win...

that`s all you can ask...
