Intertops Withdrawal $50 Check or Free Bitcoin

I deposited funds at Intertops with a credit card fully expecting to be able to request a withdrawal as a refund back to my CC. That's how it's worked in the past and their rules state: "3.6 Payouts can generally only be made using the same payment method used by the customer for his deposit."

Apparently, they no longer do credit card refunds. I believe their $50 check charge is exorbitant, so considering using their no fee Bitcoin payout. Has anyone had experience with Intertops Bitcoin withdrawals? Good or bad? Anything special to watch out for? TIA!

No bitcoin payouts from Intertops but bitcoin deposits are instant with no problems. I would assume payouts will work just as smoothly. I took a check payout once and it took forever to clear, like 8 weeks. My bank puts a hold on all international checks until they clear.

If I was you I would open an account with blockchain and have them send it there. You can probably have it setup today with no hitches. After they pay you to blockchain get the bitpay visa debit card then transfer the btc from blockchain to the card and go to any atm and get the cash. The absolute best way to handle it.

Just an FYI...I requested the Bitcoin payout to my new Blockchain wallet this morning which is Friday. The confirmation screen stated:

"We confirm receipt of your Bitcoin Request. Our Payment Department processes payouts between Monday and Friday. The payout process will begin in 48 hours (2 business days). Payout times indicated on the website refer to the actual processing and do not include the pending period."

I'm in no particular hurry for the funds, but they do seem to always find ways to delay withdrawals.

Unless they changed their policy, you have to pay for the bitpay visa with bitcoin. It was $10 when I got mine.

Bitcoin prices have been skyrocketing, much to my delight. Thinking about expanding into the other current cryptocurrencies. I have discovered that one can pay a VERY wide range of prices and commissions for Bitcoin purchases. The best I have found to date is using an international bank wire to Bitstamp. Fees are very reasonable on their end; 0.05% wire receipt fee, minimum $7.50USD (plus whatever your bank charges you; $40 with Chase). Then purchase commission is only 0.25% and you can place a limit order just like in the stock market (caught a nice downward blip last week well below $2K).

Looking for something similar for Ethereum and/or Ripple (or anything better for BTC). Any suggestions, comments, warnings sincerely appreciated.
