Iona +2 over Fairfield
Fairfield has been playing pretty good at home.They beat UNC-Wilma at home and did a nice job on Blizzard.Iona played lackluster vs Wagner the other nite.
Iona has so much speed at the gds.Burtt,Woffard,super frosh McCullough and Soliver.There front line of Jenkins,Fields and hensen.All 3 are 6'9 and athletic.Fields can play the 2,3 and 4.
They will pressure the ball and the Stag gds could have trouble.They are already prone to turnovers.This team has a whole bunch of 6'5 gd-fds.No real post player.Jenkins likes to set up on the blocks down low.Stags will have trouble with post defense.And if they sag and help out that opens it for an array of shooters.McCullough is capable of taking over a game.Smith is a scorer.Garcia is the Stags leading scorer.They are getting balanced scoring from Thomson, Todd, Sogazi,and Delfico.
Like Iona to win this by 5-10 pts.Since they are the dog getting 2 pts,I'm jumpimg on it.
It's a strong play.
Marist +1 over Rider
Magarrity lost most of his team.He has been crying wolf the past month.Only 8 scholarship players,etc,etc.Maybe we shouldn't even show up this yr.In there 1st game at Lasalle they score 90 pts and blow them away.Now there not that good but Eppehimer can shoot the eyses out of the hoop.Ellerbee and Young can score.A small play on them because they do play good defense.Johnson Riders gd is amazing.He should transfer.What a waste of a player.No one around him.Rider will continue to have problems w/o Porter.
So Fl -6 and Butler -8.Like them both.
Butler plays great,great defense.They just get stops so many times.They have some nice offensive players.I hate giving 8 pts on the road but they win this by 10-15 pts.
So Fl still has growing pains w/o its 2 studs from lyr.But I think they can handle Neb at home and cover.
