Late in this article it says a company called Bet.Works LLC was chosen to run three sports books in Iowa, including one close to me.

Can?t find much info on line about this company; anyone know anything about them?
Bally Gaming got the contract to run the sports book in council bluffs? do they have much of a Vegas presence and are they a decent book?

Everyone is jacked up about this here in Sioux City.

The Hard Rock is converting a Wine Bar that was just added on a couple of years ago.

The Hard Rock has been a big success here in town. Always busy.

Bally's has been around since 1932 and they are based in Vegas. They had a hit with this video game called Pac Man, maybe you've heard of it. As for Sportsbooks in Nevada, they have more then one, their main one is of course the one at the Bally's Las Vegas Hotel & Casino.

They are active in the New Jersey Sports Betting market, they are big with the mobile sports betting platforms in that State (and other locations in North America for that matter).

Bet.Works LLC has teamed up with the Canadian company theScore, Inc. (which is a popular Sports tv/website in Canada) and have so far been successful in the Sports Gambling industry.

Love that casino. Been there a couple of times and it blows anything over on my side of the state away? except for riverside casino, but that?s an hour away.
The casino in Davenport is converting a seldom used bar area into their sports book and if they do it right it will be really nice? but that?s a big if.
There?s a tiny little dumpy casino in clinton which is as close as the Davenport ones are to me who is planning big things for its sports book so I?m hopeful they do theirs right, too.

Pac Man? never heard of it. Was it a cool game? :mj07:
So they have a casino in Vegas; good for them. Do they deal decent lines?

I have, not lots of action, but a little, and never had an issue. But that is in Canada so wouldn't really correspond to action in Iowa.

Kind of like William Hill USA is completely different then William Hill plc, same company, same ownership, but pretty much everything is different.

And for the record kickserv does not use google.

That hotel/casino has been in Vegas forever, famous for that fire that killed a bunch of people in the early 80's (known as MGM Grand Hotel and Casino then).

As for betting lines at Bally's, been a long long time since I placed a bet there so can't really comment. But I will say anytime I looked online at their lines for NHL hockey the Over/Under lines would be something like Over 5.5 -115 Under 5.5 -115, that ain't good.
