Yes, and the other back, DeAndre Johnson, has a grand total of 18 carries this year. If you pull up Des Moines Register... it has a story on what little bit they have released.

NOT GOOD. Hard to find a reason to back them now. Rest of the offense AND defense have been too inconsistent. I was ready to like them going in to the game. Parker and Ferentz have a knack for putting a good plan together when they have some time. BUT, you still need some horses.

Not according to reports. Supposedly, he is headed to Nebraska. Has been in talks w/ them for awhile.

Dang. I was expecting OU to go through the motions in this one. Now, OU may smell blood in the water and beat up on the Hawkeyes.

Pelini has wanted him for a while now, and with Parker retiring--and not a moment too soon, IMO--he figured this was as good a time as any.

My buddy says a rumor--again, a RUMOR, nothing more, is that Coker got caught cheating on an exam and that is why he got suspended.

What is the Iowa perspective on Rick Kaczenski? I see Hawkeye isn't a fan.

Pelini appears set to promote Nebraska's d-line coach (Papuchis) to the d-coordinator position. I believe this will be a mistake and Pelini will essentially be the d-coordinator. Just not a good move from a guy that needs to move to being more of an overall CEO of the program as opposed to so defensive-minded/concerned.

Kacz--look at our def line the last 3 years--got pushed around--4th qtr out of shape could not stop anyone and they had some good kids. I wish they would get rid of their off coordintor also but he's good friends with Kirk. A good friend of mine is a big booster of the Big Red--several business's in Lincoln -the rumor is- fans are not happy with Pellini--next year win the B10 or gone!

Is the out of shape and getting pushed around more of a result of the strength and conditioning (huge topic obviously for Iowa) and lack of depth as opposed to the position coach's abilities?

There is a pretty decent divide between Pelini supporters and detractors right now.

They are going to be in no position to win the Big Ten next year. If they do, several teams fell flat on their faces and Pelini did a miracle coaching job.
