On the course!
Iowa looked pretty good yesterday! I think they have been vastly underrated, and showed that fact against the Boilers.

I like the fact that they have a game in at the Fieldhouse, and the Badgers don't. They have a feel, so to speak. Iowa beat the Badgers 69-57 earlier in the season, and Wisconsin returned the favor 64-56 a month ago. But we all know tourney time is a little different.

Wisconsin hasn't played a game in over a week, and I don't see them sitting too comfortably in the number one seed. They like to be the "little guy" in the tournies. I see Iowa coming out fast today, and Wisconsin will need to play some catch up. Although I think Wisconsin can pull it out in the end, I see the Hawks having a little edge going into the locker room at the half.

I would recommend Iowa as a "pick em" in the 1st half.

Good luck today!

I agree that Wisky loves the role of "little guy". If they really believe they are the true number one team in the Big Ten (our seed says we're number one so we must be the best!) then they will be in for a long day. If they stick to business and stay focused and humble, then they should handle Iowa. But college kids sometimes have trouble doing that. That said, Ryan should be National Coach of the Year ( sorry BK fans).

Wisconsin
A guy walks into my bar up here in northern Wisconsin this morning and says, "Wisconsin is the biggest lock I have ever seen! How can a #9 seed play a #1 seed, and the line be only a pick 'em? I just got off the phone with my bookie and put the biggest bet of my life on Wisconsin!"
The guy was wearing a Bucky Badger white swearshirt, red Wisconsin cap, was aroung 50 years old with about a 46" waist, and, you guessed it, red polyester pants!!! Only thing missing was the long sideburns. That did it for me. I already had played Iowa for a small play. I now went back to the offshore and increased my wager for a big play.

GO IOWA !!!!!

Excellent point, yyz. I'll have some of that 1st 1/2 play, since I can't pick my own nose in the Big10 tourney this year.

Boy, MSU really look BAD.

Iowa at -2 now. Wisky at -1 looked like a sucker's bet but hard to believe that the public has gone the other way and bet Iowa up to 2.

any ideas?
