Dropped my IPOD while runnung and the thing has locked or on hold. Anyone know how to fix this or is it F*****!

try holding the center button down for a few seconds
If your ipod isn't broken then that should turn it off and then you can turn it back on. That should reset it.
If that doesn't work it could be time for a new one

Tried this and had it powered up. Lost all my information and then plugged it into my laptop to down load the saved on my hard drive. Then the IPOD went dead. It will now no longer power up!
Any suggestions!

If you would have bought it at COSTCO all you would do is take it back and get a new one.......I would say buy your next one there.
