Looks like a great spot for Cameroon. You have to wonder if the odds will be affected by an African team already having a great result. I passed on the opening match but I might look at Cameroon or a draw here.

Also interesting that from watching this game, it appears that the new World Cup ball may actually hurt scoring more than it helps. Looked like control of the ball was difficult as well as getting the right bend. Maybe things will get back to normal, but three shots off the woodwork in one game seems like it would indicate that the ball is just a little tougher to bend than normal.

P.S. $$$ is right. I accidently posted an incorrect start time. Apologies

It will also be much more difficult to make corners IMO.......I like the draw again in this game at +210......last I saw, after the Senegal game, the line moved towards Ireland......maybe people are thinking that 2 African teams won't win the 1st 2 games? ........I'm thinking 1-1 but am playing the over 2.5 as a hedge......I think each team will have at least a goal......2-2 would be perfect :D

Good Luck!

Two points if I may add here,

1. Nick correct me if I am wrong but isn't the game at 11:30pm PST or 2:30am EST? You have it as 10:30pm PST??????

2. Last time I checked heavy money is coming in on Cameroon as the line went from a pick @-125 to a pick @-154 (OLYMPIC)

I will have a writeup shortly with a play on this game, waiting on some info first...

Conditions at game time 74F 64%. This is truly a tough spot for Ireland to come and get a result after the weeks turmoil that has preceded the start of their WC campaign. To lose their talisman in such unnecessary circumstances will put a huge strain on the rest of the team. Ireland deserve immense credit for qualifying ahead of Holland but will once again be seen as underdogs come game time. There has been a lot of talk this week of the team being very resolute and determined in the face of adversity but the true loss of one of their greatest players is a major body blow. Cameroon are probably the fastest developing football nation in the world and should revel in the climate of Japan. European organisation has brought shape and balance to a side already blessed with collective pace, power and natural skill. This is likely to be a close fought affair but I see the much-improved Cameroons edging out a slightly disillusioned Irish side.

Cameroon 13/8 @ LuvBet 1 unit win.

Note to Mr., there are 3 African teams. Nigeria is also in Africa. And Nigeria is most likely the best of the three African teams. They are big, powerful, strong, and fast. :)
