IN BASEBALL. EXAMPLE:

Toronto (carpenter) +120
Chicago (jones) -140

that is a 20 cent line. the same game at let's say Pinnacle:

Toronto (Carpenter) +127
Chicago (Jones) -135

that's an 8 cent line. that's why you shop around and have more than 1 out. FWIW.
